Joe Bonamassa Detroit reviews
Back against the wall.
Grand Sierra Theater was the perfect size for the concert. Not to big or small. Was able to get tickets up against the back, center wall. No one behind me. Great view, I was straight in front of the mic, could see Joe perfectly. Was able to stand and dance through the concert with a couple of other ladies dancing too. Just would like a small area for dancing, but I know it is all about the dollar and it may take a few dollars off your bottom line losing a few seats for dancing. Nothing better than dancing to Bonamassa's music. Yahoo. At least I could in the very last row. Great time.
ALWAYS A MEMORABLE SHOW!
Joe is always the consumate professional! About my 8th or 9th time seeing Joe B and he never disappoints. It's the first time I traveled about 1000 miles to see him. This was his New Orleans show last week at the Saenger Theater, which is a beautiful venue. As anyone knows, Joe and each and every member of his band gives 100% in every performance. Especially some of the absolute finest and most energetic background singers. This night was no different and actually included a very pleasent surprise stage visit by Samantha Fish (New Orleans resident) who joined the band for one song. What a treat! A great mix of older/past songs, a few current songs and a few from his latest albulmn, as well as, a ZZ-Top cover I(seems he always does at least one cover each show as a tribute to those that paved the way for him).
Cant wait for the next opportunity to see him and the band.
